Clearance Requirements

Width and Height Clearance
- Minimum width: 12 feet
- Minimum height: 18 feet – 20 feet preferred
Ground Conditions
Your site should be:
- Level – not more than 5 degree incline
- Firm and well-drained
- Accessible to a large delivery truck

Delivery Process
- Confirm site access.
- Schedule delivery.
- Driver unloads container.
- Final positioning and inspection.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Our delivery trucks are large, heavy vehicles, and most are two-wheel drive rather than four-wheel drive. As a result, they require firm, stable ground and adequate traction to safely transport and unload your container.
The most suitable surfaces for container delivery are paved roads and hard surfaces such as asphalt and concrete. Deliveries to rural properties are common, provided the site is accessible by a well-maintained two-lane road capable of supporting heavy truck traffic.
Delivery may be delayed or declined if the route or unloading area includes soft or unstable conditions such as mud, loose dirt, deep sand, saturated grass, snow, ice, steep grades, sloped terrain, ditches, trenches, or standing water, or obstacles such as tree stumps, low hanging branches, or large rocks.
For the safety of our drivers and equipment, Steel Ridge Containers reserves the right to refuse delivery if site conditions are determined to be unsafe or if there is a risk of the truck becoming stuck or damaged.
